Q Working Principles of the Positive Pressure Bin Pump
The main steps include "Feeding-Pressurizing-Conveying-Purging." Upstream material falls into the bin pump; after the feeding valve closes, compressed air fills the bin pump to create a positive pressure environment.
Pressure pushes the material through the conveying pipeline to the target silo. After the material is discharged, the purge valve opens to clean residual material from the pipeline. Pressure sensors monitor the vessel pressure in real time, automatically controlling the actions of each valve to achieve intermittent and efficient conveying.

This equipment is highly adaptable and can be customized as needed. Material characteristics (powder/granular, abrasive/adhesive) determine the vessel material (carbon steel/stainless steel/wear-resistant lining) and its internal anti-adhesion structure.
Conveying distance (10-500 m) and height (5-100 m) are matched to the pump volume and air compressor power. Capacity (1-100 t/h) determines the specification of the feeding/discharging valves. Special requirements may include blockage monitoring and explosion-proof design.

Q Precautions
Before starting the equipment, ensure all valves are in their initial positions and there are no foreign objects inside the bin pump. During pressurization, do not open the feed valve to prevent personnel injury caused by material backflow. For maintenance, first depressurize the system, disconnect power, and display a warning tag. Avoid conveying overly wet or coarse materials to prevent clumping and pipeline blockage. Regularly check the sensitivity of safety valves to ensure automatic pressure relief in case of overpressure. For outdoor equipment in winter, provide pipeline heat tracing to prevent freezing and cracking.
