Q Working Principles of Vibrating Feeder
The key process is "achieving material conveyance through vibratory excitation." A motor drives the vibrator to generate periodic vibrations, causing the trough to move directionally. Under inertial force, materials slide or hop continuously along the trough in a forward direction. The feeding rate is controlled by adjusting the vibration frequency, while some models are equipped with an adjustable gate to regulate the inflow. With a simple structure and stable conveying performance, the equipment is suitable for feeding scenarios prior to crushing or screening operations.
Q Can the vibrating feeder be customized?
The equipment offers strong adaptability and can be customized as needed. Material characteristics (e.g., lumps/granules/powder, abrasiveness) determine the trough material (carbon steel/stainless steel/wear-resistant lining) and the type of vibrator; the required feed rate (1–1000 t/h) dictates the equipment specifications and excitation power. Based on site constraints, open or enclosed structures can be customized, with special options such as dust covers, variable-frequency speed control, and anti-clogging devices available to suit high-temperature or high-humidity operating conditions.
Q Maintenance of Vibrating Feeder
Daily Maintenance: Inspect the fixing bolts of the vibrator, spring elasticity, and check for any deformation in the trough before each shift; clean residual materials from the trough and turn off the power after each shift. Periodic Maintenance: Lubricate the vibrator bearings weekly; check belt tension and wear of sealing components monthly; calibrate vibration frequency, replace aged springs quarterly to ensure stable vibration operation without abnormalities.
