Q Working Principles of the Scraper Filter
The core principle is "filtration + online residue scraping." The fluid containing impurities enters the filter chamber, where impurities are intercepted on the surface of the filter element, and purified liquid discharges from the inner side of the element. When the differential pressure rises to the set value, a motor-driven scraper rotates along the filter element to remove surface residue into the discharge port. Some models are equipped with backwashing to assist in residue cleaning, enabling continuous filtration without shutdown and reducing manual intervention.
Q Can the scraper filter be customized?
This equipment can be configured to suit specific scenarios. Material characteristics (viscosity/hardness) determine the filter element material (stainless steel mesh/sintered mesh) and scraper type (hard alloy/polyurethane); processing capacity (5-1000m³/h) matches the filter element area and equipment specifications; filtration precision (10-1000μm) customizes the pore size of the filter element. For special requirements, options include explosion-proof motors, heating jackets, or fully automatic control systems.
Q Maintenance of the Scraper Filter
Daily Maintenance: Before shift, check the gap between the scraper and filter element, as well as the motor operating status; after shift, observe the differential pressure curve to confirm residue removal effectiveness. Regular Maintenance: Weekly, clean the surfaces of the scraper and filter element, and inspect for wear; monthly, calibrate the scraper position and replace aged sealing components; quarterly, inspect the transmission mechanism and lubricate bearings to ensure thorough residue removal.
Q Precautions
Before starting, ensure the scraper moves freely without jamming, the filter chamber is free of foreign objects, and conduct a normal no-load test run before feeding material. Strictly prohibit filtering excessively hard impurities to prevent scratching the filter element. For viscous materials, adjust the scraper rotation speed to prevent residue layer buildup. Opening the filter chamber during equipment operation is prohibited. Before maintenance, depressurize and disconnect power. Regularly inspect the integrity of the filter element; replace promptly if damaged to avoid filtration failure.
